My name is Stephany Aulenback and I live in Nova Scotia with my husband David, our little boy Luke, who is now four years old, and Sylvie, who is, as Luke likes to say, zero years old. We are considerably older than that.
On a good day, I am an agnostic. On a bad day, I’m an atheist. On a really bad day, I’m a total believer.
I like to read and to write. I also enjoy sleeping and walking, but not at the same time. I am an exciting person but I am not that exciting.
Luke likes books, computers, and “butterfly’s kisses” although he dislikes the butterflies themselves and all other “ants, bees, flies, 'biters' [spiders] and bugs.” He loves soccer, bowling, gymnastics, and inventing games with elaborate rules.
Sylvie likes eating, taking baths, rolling over, sitting up, clapping her hands, and laughing at Luke. She does not like getting her nose wiped and if you try to do so, she will think you are trying to kill her.
David likes us, and that’s a good thing, for we do not know what we would do without him.
