I was actually there at the awards night. I thought of you when Sara won, because I found out about the book through your blog. Sara gave a lovely speech and she looked smashing. I really appreciated her insisting that the illustrator come up to the stage as well. It was a glorious evening, I must say.
I am woefully behind in my blog reading, and must set aside some time to catch up on all of your wonderful posts!
