Book Birdhouses

Birdhouses made from second-hand books. The one on the left is made out of To Kill A Mockingbird. You can zoom in on the photo if you go to Uncommon Goods where they are sold. But I think they wouldn't be that hard to make yourself. Thanks for the link, Mary!

Yeah, M, I think you could easily take an unfinished birdhouse and turn it into one of those -- send me a pic if you do? I'm just wondering how best to waterproof it. With a lot of shellac? Hmm.

Uh...yikes! I didn't notice the price, either. I'd love to make one, but I'm pretty sure it would NOT look like that photo...so..yes! Make one for me!
