I thought this was a pretty striking and effective Halloween decoration. I should have taken a full view of the place -- it's a very square, flat-faced old shed down by the wharf that has recently been converted into a surprisingly modern-looking cottage. I post the photos here in honour of Life of 'Pie, who keeps a running tally of the spiders she encounters in her sidebar.

I just took that photo of the house, Dena -- it's not my house and I don't know what they used. It looks pretty great though, doesn't it?
