Steph, David, and Luke are lying on the bed. Steph and David are reading. Luke, between them, is tearing small holes in his blanket.
Steph (giggles): Hey, listen to this. (She reads aloud from Woody Allen's "Hassidic Tales, With a Guide to Their Interpretation by the Noted Scholar" in Fierce Pajamas.)
David and Steph laugh. Luke, exchanging twinkling knowing looks with first Steph and then David, laughs loudly -- and convincingly -- too.
Luke (stops laughing and pauses. Then): That isn't really funny.
David and Steph laugh harder.
Luke: It isn't. It's not funny!
Steph: No, you're right. It isn't.
David and Steph laugh harder.
Luke: You're going to get the hiccups.
I recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

Well, the idea of god planning suffering might not be funny, but that was. Perceptive fellow you have there!
