Sunday morning. Luke and David are in the living room. Luke is sitting on the sofa, examining his bare toes.
David: How many toes do you have, Luke?
Luke (counting): One, two, three... (and so on). Eight! I have eight toes.
David: Eight toes?! Count them again.
Luke (counting again): One, two, three... Twelve! I have twelve toes.
David: Twelve toes?! That's odd. Count them again.
Luke (counting again): One, two, three... Ten! I have ten toes.
David: Ten! That sounds right.
Luke (on a roll, counting again): One, two, three... Nine! I have nine toes.
David (giving up): Huh. You must have lost one somewhere. Check behind the sofa cushion.
I know I'm getting boring - but he's a great kid you have there.

Oh, you could never be boring. You could preach to the choir -- Amen sister! -- but you could never be boring. :)
