This is one of a series of photographs taken by Álvaro Sánchez-Montañés, a photographer who was intrigued by descriptions of an abandoned diamond-mining village in Namibia and went there to capture how the desert had taken back the buildings.
This particular photo makes me think of the ocean, not the desert at all. Beautiful.
