Endpapers

The "Victorian Spooky Wallpaper" end paper by Adam McCauley for his picture book Oh No, Not Ghosts! Can you see the creepy creatures hiding in it? There were several such creatures living in the wallpaper in my childhood bedroom. And there was one directly above the head of the bed -- it lived in an arrangement of cracked plaster. Last night, while I was soaking in the tub, I noticed a new one for the first time in years. It appeared in a whorl on the oak trim around the window.  (I was very, very tired and feeling a bit off -- I've noticed that's when they generally like to visit.)
