March: In Like a Lion and Out Like One, Too.

March came in like a lion and drum roll please... it's going out like a lion. Surprise, surprise. (I always say that in a French accent, like the waiter in Paris who said it when David ordered a hamburger and fries at a sidewalk cafe. It's more fun that way.) This ferocious little lion is by artist Matte Stephens.

Needle-felted sheep, ewe and baby, by Nushkie. Every year I buy a needle-felted sheep at the local Waldorf school's Christmas craft sale and every year the cats attack it and tear it to bits. It's inadvertently become a Christmas tradition. But why am I talking about Christmas? Maybe because there are a couple of inches of new snow on the ground. April can't come soon  enough.

Just found your site via InfoMonkey. Cute lambs! Hopefully we can just skip the April showers and go directly to May flowers considering the terrible winter we've had here..!
